Iowa River at Marengo affecting Benton and Iowa Counties.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Iowa River at Marengo.

* WHEN...From late tonight until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Water affects agricultural land along the river. Water is several feet deep in places.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM CST Tuesday the stage was 12.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tonight and continue rising to a crest of 16.5 feet Friday evening. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

Instructions

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
