Flood Advisory

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Northern Logan County in northeastern Colorado... Northwestern Sedgwick County in northeastern Colorado...

* WHEN...Until 130 AM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry creeks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

- At 1035 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.

- This includes the following streams and drainages... Pawnee Creek, Darby Creek, Cow Creek, Baymer Creek, East Lewis Creek, George Creek, South Platte River, Springdale Creek, West Fork Cottonwood Creek, Lodgepole Creek, Beall Creek and Brush Creek.

- Some locations that will experience flooding include... Julesburg, Ovid, Peetz, Sedgwick, Crook, Proctor, Twin Buttes, Padroni and North Sterling Reservoir.
