* WHAT...For the Heat Advisory, heat index values in the upper 90s expected. For the Extreme Heat Watch, dangerously hot conditions with heat index values as high as 105 possible.

* WHERE...Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, Wayne, Northern Cayuga, Oswego, Northern Erie, Genesee, Livingston, and Ontario Counties.

* WHEN...For the Heat Advisory, from noon today to 8 PM EDT this evening. For the Extreme Heat Watch, from Wednesday afternoon through Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...Extreme heat and humidity will significantly increase the potential for heat related illnesses, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities. Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat related illnesses to occur.
