...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana...Illinois...

Wabash River at Montezuma.

Wabash River at Covington.

Wabash River at Vincennes.

.On the Wabash River...moderate flooding will continue at Montezuma and Terre Haute through tonight...with otherwise widespread minor flooding from Lafayette to Vincennes. Flooding is forecast to end on the Wabash at Lafayette tonight. The main crest will be slowly crossing Terre Haute through Saturday. Flooding will begin at Vincennes tonight...with the main crest forecast to arrive Tuesday night.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Montezuma.

* WHEN...Until Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Floodwater is near the top of all agricultural levees. Some county roads are impassable. High water isolates a few rural residents. Basement flooding begins along Water Street in Montezuma. Medusa Aggregates Company Plant Number 9 begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:45 PM EDT Friday the stage was 24.7 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:45 PM EDT Friday was 25.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage Wednesday evening and continue falling and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
