* Until 130 PM CDT.
* At 1255 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located near Matagorda Island 607, moving northeast at 45 knots.
HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
* Locations impacted include... Brazos 490, Matagorda Island 557, Tabs Buoy W, Matagorda Island 607, Brazos 548, and Matagorda Jetty.
