* Flash Flood Warning for... Harris County in southeastern Texas... South Central Montgomery County in southeastern Texas...

* Until 215 PM CDT.

* At 1249 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 6.5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.25 to 0.75 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
