* Flash Flood Warning for... Jackson County in southeastern Kentucky... West Central Owsley County in southeastern Kentucky...

* Until 445 PM EDT.

* At 201 PM EDT, Jackson County Emergency Management reported widespread flash flooding in McKee. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall is ongoing in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... McKee, Atkinstown, Bradshaw, Gray Hawk, Olin, Macedonia, Dabolt, Mildred, Shop Branch, Hurley, Privett, Settle Store, Annville, Deese, Turkey Foot, Bond, Tyner, Welchburg, Cornelius and Zekes Point.
