At 1222 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds of 25 to 30 knots and weak waterspouts. These thunderstorms are generally located along a line extending from 23 nm south of Isle Derniers to 11 nm south of Timbalier Island to near Louisiana Offshore Oil Port to 16 nm southwest of Southwest Pass Of the Mississippi River, moving southwest at 10 knots.
