The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... West Central Kane County in southern Utah... East Central Washington County in southwestern Utah...

* Until 615 AM MDT.

* At 316 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.25 and 0.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Zion National Park.

The Narrows, the Subway, Behunin Canyon, Keyhole, Pine and Spry Slot Canyons and all other slot canyons and normally dry washes in the area.
