* At 1244 PM CDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain in central and southern Avoyelles Parish. Between 12 and 26 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring.

This is a FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Cental and southern Avoyelles Parish. This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW!

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.
