Marine Weather Statement

The Mendenhall River continues to recede after the glacier lake outburst flood. As a result of the release, trees and other debris have been observed on the Mendenhall River, and will likely extend down into Stephens Passage, Fritz Cove, and Favorite Channel through Friday morning. Caution is advised for mariners and all recreational users on the water for hazards to their vessels.
