* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1026 PM MST, Gauge reports indicated several washes still above alarm stage from the heavy rain earlier due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Apache Wash, New River, Cave Creek, Skunk Creek, Agua Fria River, North Canyon Creek, Beardsley Canal and Deadman Wash. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.75 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
