Heavy rain over the past two days has caused appreciable rises on area rivers. The following river information is based on past rainfall in addition to rainfall over the next 24 hours. The exact amount, intensity, timing, and location of the rain that will occur is still uncertain.

For the Illinois River at Henry, the latest forecast information pushes river levels just above minor flood stage of 23 feet on Sunday evening. Once there is more certainty in the forecast and a flooding threat materializes, a flood warning will be issued.
