The National Weather Service in Reno has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for... The Stallion Fire burn scar in... Southern Washoe County in western Nevada...

* Until 500 PM PDT.

* At 246 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain over the Stallion Fire. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Excessive rainfall over the fire will result in debris flows south of Virginia Peak and in Nixon. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms in and around the Stallion Fire Burn Scar.
