At 356 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 49 nm west of Tarpon Springs to 14 nm northwest of Anclote Key, moving southwest at 25 knots.
