Heat Advisory

* WHAT...Temperatures in the upper 90s to low 100s expected.

* WHERE...Middle Rio Grande Valley including the Albuquerque Metro Area, Northwest Plateau, West Central Plateau, and West Central Highlands.

* WHEN...For the first Heat Advisory, until 8 PM MDT this evening. For the second Heat Advisory, from noon to 8 PM MDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Individuals involved in flash flood recovery efforts across Gallup and Zuni Pueblo should take extra precautions. The hottest temperatures in the low 100s will be across the San Juan and Rio Grande River Valleys. Record high temperatures expected both days.
