Special Weather Statement

At 441 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 12 miles west of Clinton to near Butters. Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include... Elizabethtown, Rowan, Bladenboro, Smiths, Bladen Community College, Abbottsburg, Lisbon, Ammon, Butters, Lagoon, Elkton, Kelly, Ruskin, White Oak, Clarkton, White Lake, Dublin, Tar Heel, and Bladen County Hospital.
