Majuro sits between a tropical circulation weest of Pohnpei, and another weaker circulation east of Majuro. Additionally, a cross- equatorial southwest to west wind will continue to affect the southern half of the RMI, with a related southwest to west swell of 1 to 3 feet at Majuro, and 2 to 4 feet for the southern RMI, remaining likely through Monday. It remains unclear if this will pose any coastal erosion concerns, and any information to such effects should be reported to the Majuro Weather Service Office when possible. At the very least, mariners should take this unusual wind and swell direction into consideration when making any inter-island travel plans.
