At 713 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4 miles east of Kannapolis. This storm was nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include... Kannapolis, Downtown Concord, West Concord, China Grove, Landis, Enochville, Coddle Creek Reservoir, and Charlotte Motor Speedway.
