* WHAT...Afternoon high temperatures of 88 to 93 degrees.

* WHERE...In Oregon, Lower Columbia River County. In Washington, Cowlitz County Lowlands and South Washington Cascade Foothills Counties.

* WHEN...Until 11 PM PDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wildfire smoke continues west of the Cascades over northwest Oregon and southwest Washington, which may limit high temperatures by approximately 1-3 degrees. However, temperatures will still be hot enough to bring an increased risk ofheat-related illnesses even if temperatures are dampened a few degrees from smoke.
