.A weather system will bring breezy westerly winds through the Cascade gaps Tuesday afternoon and evening. Coupled with low relative humidity, this will lead to critical fire weather conditions, especially across the Lower Columbia Basin of Oregon.

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 691 Lower Columbia Basin of Oregon, 701 Eastern Columbia River Gorge of Oregon and 703 Warm Springs Reservation.

* TIMING...From noon to 10 PM PDT Tuesday.

* WINDS...West 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 16 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
