At 217 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9 miles south of Hendersonville, or 5 miles northeast of Jones Gap State Park, moving southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible.
