* Flash Flood Warning for... Los Alamos County in north central New Mexico... East Central Sandoval County in north central New Mexico... Northwestern Santa Fe County in north central New Mexico...

* Until 1030 PM MDT.

* At 825 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.5 to 1.5 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
