* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Illinois, including the following counties, Ford, Iroquois and Livingston and northwest Indiana, including the following counties, Benton, Jasper and Newton.
* WHEN...Until 1 AM CDT /2 AM EDT/ Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Roads and streets may be flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms are likely this afternoon and evening. Storms will be capable of producing very heavy downpours with some areas potentially picking up a quick 1 to locally 3 inches of rain. Rainfall of that magnitude would likely result in a localized flash flooding given the high soil moisture from recent heavy rains. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
