White River from Petersburg to Hazleton.
.Minor flooding continues along the lower White River from Petersburg to Hazleton. Minor flooding also continues on the Wabash River from Montezuma down to Mount Carmel with the crest at Vincennes. Rain amounts with scattered storms this evening are not expected to impact main stem river levels, but locally heavy rainfall in a basin could cause a bump in stage as well as lengthen the amount of time in flood.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Wabash River at Terre Haute.
* WHEN...Until Thursday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 17.5 feet, A few sloughs and a drainage have water in them in the vicinity of SR 63 on the west side of the Wabash River.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:30 PM CDT /1:30 PM EDT/ Wednesday the stage was 17.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 12:30 PM CDT /1:30 PM EDT/ Wednesday was 19.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.5 feet this afternoon.
