* WHERE...Portions of southern Connecticut, including the following areas, Northern Fairfield and Southern Fairfield and southeast New York, including the following areas, Northern Westchester and Rockland.

* WHEN...From 2 PM this afternoon through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A period of heavy rainfall is possible as showers and a few thunderstorms move through the area late this afternoon and evening. Peak hourly rainfall rates could reach 2 to 2.5 inches.
