At 536 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 14 NM southeast of Cana Island Light, or 14 NM east of Whitefish Point, moving southeast at 30 knots.

HAZARD...Large hail and wind gusts to 34 knots.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in structural damage.

This strong thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.
