Flood Advisory

* WHAT...Flooding caused by multiple rounds of thunderstorms continues.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Illinois, including the following county, DuPage.

* WHEN...Until 700 PM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding is expected to continue along the East branch of the DuPage River near Morton Arboretum. Water will continue to impact a portion of Route 53 and surrounding roads and trails.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1140 AM CDT, flooding was occurring in the warned area. In the past 48 hours, between 3 and 5 inches of rain has fallen. - The worst flooding is occurring near the DuPage River in Downers Grove and Lisle, particularly near the Morton Arboretum. - The main impacted area in the Flood Advisory is along Route 53 near the Morton Arboretum. - This includes the following rivers and streams... The East Branch DuPage River near Lombard, Morton Arboretum, and Lisle. Salt Creek near Elmhurst, Oak Brook, and Western Springs. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
