* At 329 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain in the Upper Escalante River as well as North Creek, Birch Creek, Wide Hollow, and Death Hollow. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Heavy rainfall from thunderstorms producing life- threatening flash flooding in the Upper Escalante River.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, normally dry washes, and backcountry roads.
