.Repeating rounds of showers and thunderstorms over the past 72 hours, ending at 8 AM this morning, has brought copious rainfall to eastern, northern central, and much of western Indiana. Maximum radar estimates range from roughly three inches near Terre Haute to six to seven inches from Vermilion County, Illinois southeast to northern Vermillion, southern Fountain, and northern Parke counties in Indiana.
The crest at Lafayette is expected Saturday, Terre Haute Sunday night, and Mt Mount Carmel early in the week of August 23.
