* WHEN...For the High Rip Current Risk, through Saturday evening. For the High Surf Advisory, from 10 AM Thursday to 7 AM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL INFORMATION...Surf heights of 3 to 5 feet expected at the Bay and Walton County beaches on Thursday and Friday.
