* WHERE...The Champlain Valley of New York and Vermont, as well as eastern Windsor County in Vermont.
* WHEN...Until 7 PM EDT this evening.
* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The highest heat index values will continue through 5 PM today. This is the third consecutive day of unusually hot conditions. As such, impacts will remain higher despite the slightly lower temperatures and heat index values.
