Special Weather Statement

At 814 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles east of Timber Lakes, or 15 miles east of Heber City, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include... Timber Lakes, Moon Lake, Mountain Home, and Hanna.

This includes Utah Route 35 between mile markers 11 and 41.
