At 325 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 14 miles northwest of Lincolnton to 16 miles northwest of Shelby to near Forest City. Movement was southeast at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible.
