* Flash Flood Warning for... Eastern Albany County in east central New York... Western Rensselaer County in east central New York... South Central Saratoga County in east central New York... East Central Schenectady County in east central New York...

* Until 1130 AM EDT.

* At 805 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Several roads are closed and/or impassable. Travel is not recommended.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Albany, Troy, Clifton Park, East Greenbush, Cohoes, Watervliet, Rensselaer, Colonie, Latham, Delmar, Menands, Ravena, Green Island, Waterford, Castleton-On-Hudson, Loudonville, Selkirk, Halfmoon, Coeymans and West Albany.
