* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is ongoing.
* WHERE...Bear Creek in Jefferson County, CO...
* WHEN...Until 545 AM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable, and bridges may be compromised.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 251 AM MDT, Emergency management reported damage to multiple bridges in the Evergreen and Kittredge area and rapidly rising water along Bear Creek following heavy rain from to thunderstorms. Between 1 and 4 inches of rain has fallen. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include... Evergreen, Morrison, Idledale, Kittredge and Bear Creek Lake Park.
