* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Increasing farmlands flood along the bottomlands.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 8.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Saturday morning to a crest of 25.0 feet early Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Monday afternoon. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 25.0 feet on 07/25/1992. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.
