* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of north central Nevada, including the following counties, Eureka and Lander.
* WHEN...Until 645 PM PDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 343 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.7 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - The thunderstorms are expected to cross Interstate 80 between Battle Mountain, through Argenta, and west of Dunphy. The heavy rain will cause ponding of water on I-80, causing slick driving conditions. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.3 to 0.6 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Argenta and Mule Canyon Reclamation Project.
