* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 698 Southern Blue Mountains and 700 Central Mountains of Oregon.

* TIMING...From 1 PM this afternoon to 8 PM PDT Saturday.

* WINDS...West 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 8 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
