At 338 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Lake Carolina, or 9 miles southeast of Springdale, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include... Columbia, Forest Acres, Camden, Dentsville, Arcadia Lakes, Lugoff, Woodfield, Sesquicentennial State Park, Lake Carolina, Villages at Sandhill, Fort Jackson, Elgin, Horrel Hill, Killian, Blythewood, Fort Jackson Wildcat Road, Boykin, Fort Jackson McCrady Training Center, Pine Grove Fire Station, and Cedar Creek Fire Station.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 70 and 97. Interstate 77 between mile markers 12 and 29.
