At 559 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Hebron to Columbia to near Clarks Hill Recreation Area. Movement was southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include... Columbia, Sumter, Aiken, North Augusta, Lexington, West Columbia, Orangeburg, Cayce, Batesburg-Leesville, Manning, Oak Grove, South Sumter, Clearwater, Aiken Mall, McEntire Air Base, Red Bank, Belvedere, Brookdale, Edgefield, and Williston.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 0 and 59. Interstate 26 between mile markers 110 and 147. Interstate 520 in Georgia near mile marker 15. Interstate 520 in South Carolina between mile markers 16 and 23. Interstate 77 between mile markers 0 and 9. Interstate 95 between mile markers 100 and 132.
