* At 610 AM CDT, a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts was located along a line extending from near Timbalier Bay to 7 nm north of Caillou Bay, moving northeast at 5 knots.
HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats...damage vessels and oil rigs...and create suddenly higher waves. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
