* Until 1030 PM MST.
* At 726 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Tucson, Casas Adobes, Drexel Heights, Flowing Wells, South Tucson, Pascua Pueblo Yaqui Reservation, Tucson Mountain Park, Valencia West, Tucson Estates, Saguaro National Park West and Ryan AirField.
This includes the following highways... Interstate 19 between mile markers 59 and 63. Route 86 between mile markers 156 and 171. Route 77 between mile markers 70 and 72. Interstate 10 between mile markers 249 and 263.
This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations... Santa Clara Ave at El Vado Wash, 1st Ave north of Fort Lowell Rd, Stone Ave at Mabel St, Camino De La Tierra at the Rillito River, Camino de Oeste from Sweetwater to Gates Pass, Ironwood Hills Dr from Shannon to Camino de Oeste and Mark Rd from Jeffery Rd to Los Reales Rd.
