Details

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Guam, Rota, Tinian and Saipan.
* WHEN...Through late Tuesday night.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Shower and thunderstorm coverage will begin to increase beginning today, followed by quickly deteriorating conditions coming into tonight as rain bands from Bavi begin to enter Marianas coastal waters from the east. Satellite-based estimates indicate rainfall amounts between 12 and 20 inches possible during passage of TY Bavi, especially near the center of the system. These profoundly intense showers and thunderstorms are likely to produce flash flooding across the Marianas over the coming days. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
