* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Verdigris River near Lenapah.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 36.0 feet, very serious flooding occurs in Nowata County. This is a dangerous and life threatening situation. Many rural roads are closed. State Highway 10 is impassable at a point 5 miles east of Lenapah.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 33.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 35.1 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow morning. - Flood stage is 30.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
