At 355 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over South Salt Lake, or near Salt Lake City, moving north at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include... Salt Lake City, West Valley City, Murray, Taylorsville, South Salt Lake, Salt Lake City International Airport, Millcreek, Kearns, University Of Utah, and Sugarhouse.
This includes the following highways... Interstate 15 between mile markers 301 and 311. Interstate 80 in Utah between mile markers 113 and 125.
