.Scattered thunderstorms are expected again across far southwestern Idaho and the western Magic Valley Wednesday afternoon. Expect gusty and erratic winds up to 55 mph in the vicinity of these thunderstorms.

The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a Red Flag Warning for lightning, which is in effect from 1 PM this afternoon to 8 PM MDT this evening.

* AFFECTED AREA...In Idaho, Fire Weather Zone 424 Western Twin Falls BLM.

* TIMING...From 1 PM this afternoon to 8 PM MDT this evening.

* THUNDERSTORMS...Scattered coverage with abundant lightning.

* OUTFLOW WINDS...Gusty erratic winds up to 55 mph.

* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
