* Special Marine Warning for... Nearshore and Open waters from Willowick OH to Conneaut OH...
* Until 530 AM EDT.
* At 332 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from 29 nm northwest of Geneva-On-The-Lake to 18 nm northwest of Fairport Harbor to 14 nm northeast of Avon Point, moving northeast at 20 knots.
HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts 34 knots or greater, and small hail.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
