* WHAT...Flooding caused by multiple rounds of thunderstorms continues.

* WHERE...Portions of northeast Illinois, including the following counties, Cook and Will and northwest Indiana, including the following county, Lake IN.

* WHEN...Until noon CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding is occurring in poor drainage and urban areas. Roads and streets may be flooded. High water may recede slowly from flooded areas, possibly stalled by clogged drains.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 736 AM CDT, flooding was occurring in the warned area. In the past 48 hours, between 4 and 6 inches of rain has fallen. River gauges indicate that creeks and rivers are at or above flood stage, suggesting there are areas of standing water and flooding in the area. - Additional waves of storms may aggravate flooding today. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
