At 146 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles southwest of Rowlesburg to Weston. Movement was southeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include... Elkins, Buckhannon, Weston, Philippi, Audra State Park, Belington, Stonewall Jackson, Beverly, Junior, Womelsdorf (Coalton), Montrose, Pheasant Run, Dryfork, Bowden, Overhill, Moatsville, Volga, Lorentz, Century, and Nestorville.
This includes the following highways... Interstate 79 between mile markers 95 and 104. Route 33 between mile markers 1 and 35.
